After voluntarily retiring from the 9 years of disciplined sea service in Indian Navy, I thought it was time for a change. I decided to venture into civil construction, which for me, were unchartered waters.

My perseverance and research paid off and within a year I had started Guruji Infrastructure, a civil construction company that later branched out to solid waste management.

After Guruji Infrastructure gained a secure foothold in the market, I decided to focus on other ventures, and after meticulous exploration, I zeroed in on the security business. That is how Sainik Intelligence and Security Pvt Ltd came into being. An ambitious project started with just two employees, Sainik today boasts of 8000-strong personnel in more than three states.

It was the mounting traffic and the public’s flagrant disregard for rules, which made me focus my attention on resolving these serious concerns. Before long, Sainik had added a team of traffic wardens to the company to help the traffic police manage traffic woes.

While manpower has been a key focus area for me, I truly believe that tackling environmental issues are the need of the hour. This was why I started the Guruji Waste processing Pvt. Ltd, a company whose chief focus will be to offer solutions in key areas of concern like biogas, biomining, among others.

My journey, which began more than two decades ago, has not always been easy. There have been good times and bad. We have lost, learned and emerged back stronger than ever.

Along the way, we brought forward an array of top-notch and integrated solutions,which guarantee that the appropriate solution connects with the intended audience.

Through it all, the customer continues to remain at the centre of all my endeavours. I believe that success comes from a tenacious focus on our shared vision, innovation and timely execution.
